Bornfight listed as one of the top 20 dev employers in Croatia

In current research conducted by Netokracija and Hacking HR, software engineers responded to the survey What do software engineers expect from Croatian employers, and we were named one of the top 20 employers in Croatia according to their choice.
Here are some results from the survey:
85% of respondents were men and 15% were women, and 85% of them were employed permanently. The majority of respondents (52%) have been working for their current employer for between 1 and 4 years, and 35% of them found out about their current job through a recommendation. 78% of respondents stated that they most often get information about potential employers through friends and colleagues, and nearly half of them (47%) say they would recommend their current employer to someone.
One of the key questions of the research was what a “better offer” means for engineers, which might lead them to leave their current job and look for a new employer. For 78% of respondents, the main reason would be a better salary, followed by 47% that stated it would be for better benefits. However, the immediately following reasons are a greater opportunity for learning and development, more interesting and challenging projects, remote work and a greater possibility of advancement.
There is also data from the survey that highlights the importance of employer branding – as many as 28% of candidates would accept the same or lower salary than the employer of their first choice.
